Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician (PM) specializing in Heavy Equipment to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing proactive inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance on a wide range of heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity. Your expertise will help prevent equipment failures, reduce downtime, and support the efficient operation of our fleet and machinery across various industries. Duties
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, and support equipment
- Change engine oil, hydraulic oil, filters, and lubricate equipment
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report mechanical concerns
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs
- Assist mechanics with minor repairs when needed
- Help ensure equipment uptime and reliability for field operations
Experience
- Experience working on heavy equipment, construction equipment, diesel engines, or similar equipment preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work independently and manage maintenance schedules
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions
- Min 2 years experience preferred
- Must have 5 year clean driving record
Pay: $23.65 - $28.48 per hour
