RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects.
- Create hand crafted drinks from our coffee, smoothies, and beverage menu sections.
- Learn how to prepare beverages to standard recipes.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all our food and beverage menu items, price and availability.
- Provide a welcome to every customer and provide answers about menu items including any allergen questions.
- Build guest relationships.
- Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area.
- Accurately using and cleaning barista equipment.
- Accurately make drink orders and gather items ordered.
- Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and flexible schedule.
- The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Any other related job duties assigned by the manager.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- A good attitude and an outgoing personality
- Minimum 1yr barista experience
- Ability to work with a team of great people focused on delivering the same vision
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends, and/or holidays
- Must have proficient knowledge of a variety of computer software applications (MSWord, Excel, Access, Adobe, PowerPoint)
- Skills Needed: Motivational, verbal communication, written communication
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Sits, stands, bends, stretches, lifts items and moves frequently during working hours.
