Position Overview
The Admissions Representative plays a critical role in guiding prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment and into their first day of class. You will build meaningful relationships, understand each student’s goals, and provide personalized guidance to help them make informed and confident decisions about their education and career path.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for prospective and accepted students
- Engage with students via phone, text, email, video, and in-person meetings
- Lead structured, meaningful conversations to uncover student goals, motivations, and readiness
- Educate prospective students on programs, career paths, admissions requirements, and expectations
- Guide applicants through the admissions process, including applications and required documentation
- Address concerns or barriers with empathy, clarity, and solution-oriented advising
- Maintain consistent follow-up to keep students engaged and moving toward enrollment
- Manage and track a pipeline of prospective students using CRM systems
- Support accepted students through onboarding and orientation to their first day of class
- Collaborate with Financial Aid, Academics, and Student Services to ensure a seamless student experience
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CRM and institutional systems
- Uphold institutional values, compliance standards, and ethical admissions practices
- Continuously develop skills through training, coaching, and performance feedback
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Business, Education, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment advising, or consultative sales
- Experience in higher education or career education (preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Strong consultative communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to lead conversations with confidence, empathy, and clarity
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work in a performance-driven, student-centered environment
- Commitment to ethical practices and regulatory compliance
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and occasional weekends
Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
