Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations related to air freight import and export handling
- Ensure full compliance with IATA, TSA, and airport authority regulations and security requirements
- Manage inventory accuracy, cargo handling, staging, and storage processes
- Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and performance
- Coordinate daily operations with airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and trucking partners
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including turnaround time, accuracy, and safety metrics
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and operational efficiency
- Ensure proper execution of all cargo documentation, chain of custody, and security procedures
- Oversee the safe operation, maintenance, and utilization of material handling equipment (MHE)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience, including at least 2 years in air cargo operations
- Strong knowledge of air freight logistics, import/export processes, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, train, and develop teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office Suite
- IATA and/or TSA certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operationally required
