ROADS & PARKS / MAINTENANCE WORKER
Pay Range: $25.50–$30.65/hour
Position: Full-Time
Reports To: Road Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Township team as a full-time Roads & Parks / Maintenance Worker.
This hands-on role maintains Township roads, parks, buildings, grounds, and equipment. It requires physical labor, lifting up to 50 pounds, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and being available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency callouts as needed.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-minded, willing to learn, and takes pride in serving the community.
Responsibilities:
- Road maintenance and repair
- Snow and ice removal
- Mowing, trimming, and turf maintenance
- Park, court, and playground maintenance
- Tree, brush, litter, and debris removal
- Building and facility maintenance
- Cemetery maintenance
- Operation and maintenance of trucks, tractors, mowers, backhoes, skid steers, and other equipment
Qualifications:
Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Valid Ohio driver’s license
· Valid Ohio CDL
Preferred:
· ODA applicators license with turf and industrial vegetation,
· Maintenance, construction, grounds, road maintenance, or equipment operation experience
