Job Title: Quality Inspector
Shift: Monday-Friday: 5:00am-3:00pm
(Training period) Monday-Friday: 6:30am-3:00pm
Wage: $19+ (Increases based on experience level)
Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves inspecting, measuring, and documenting production output while working closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and products on the production floor.
- Verify products meet required specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.
- Record inspection data accurately and maintain detailed logs.
- Use tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring devices to verify product dimensions.
- Communicate any defects, non-conformities, or deviations to production supervisors and the quality assurance team.
- Assist in determining root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct in-process inspections to monitor quality throughout production runs.
- Support the team in maintaining compliance with ISO standards or other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with machine operators and assembly teams to ensure proper handling of materials and products.
- Maintain inspection tools and ensure they are properly calibrated.
- Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Aerospace: 2+ years (Required)
- CNC experience: 2+ years (Required)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, bending, and walking throughout the production floor.
- Manual dexterity to operate measuring tools and equipment.
