Job Overview

Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of all residential areas including living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces as needed
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded
- Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively
- Conduct laundry services such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, mirrors, and fixtures to maintain a dust-free environment
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and efficiently
- Manage floor care routines including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors for optimal appearance and safety
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required by performing outdoor work tasks such as patio or porch cleaning
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and the use of various cleaning equipment is highly desirable
- Experience with laundry services and handling cleaning detergents safely is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations and feedback
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while completing multiple tasks in diverse environments
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for roles involving exterior cleaning responsibilities
- Knowledge of housekeeper management practices or residential housekeeping standards will support success in this role
