URGENTLY HIRING – Licensed Medical Director (Psychiatrist) – Remote Telehealth

Compensation:
- $800 per initial evaluation per client, happens once when they are admitted (Includes a 30-60 minute physician initial evaluation and 30-60 minute psychiatric initial evaluation)
-$400 per follow up evaluation per client, happens once a month (Includes a 30-60 minute physician follow up evaluation and 30-60 minute psychiatric follow up evaluation)
Wake Point Recovery an out patient substance use and mental health facility is actively seeking a medical director to join our growing team. This is a fully remote telehealth position with flexible scheduling for all New York telehealth clients.
We currently intake approximately 5–10 new clients per month, providing clinicians with the opportunity to build a consistent caseload and increase monthly lll earnings.
Software we use for medical records: KIPU
Responsibilities
- Conduct one (1) individual telehealth initial psychiatry and physician eval upon client admission (only once per client)
- Conduct monthly one (1) individual telehealth follow up psychiatry and physician eval (once per month per client)
- Complete and sign all medical director forms
- Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation in KIPU EMR
- Collaborate with the medical team as needed
- Prescribe medication
Requirements
- Active New York Medical Director license in good standing
- Must be a U.S. resident
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB test/clearance
- Experience providing telehealth therapy services
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR); KIPU experience preferred
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Reliable internet connection and private workspace
