Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care.
- Apply color theory principles to recommend and create custom nail designs that match clients’ preferences and trends.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering expert advice on nail care, and upselling additional treatments or retail products.
- Assist clients with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or hair extensions when appropriate.
- Educate clients on proper nail maintenance and aftercare routines to promote healthy nails.
- Keep detailed records of treatments performed and product usage for each client.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty role with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work.
- Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and sanitation protocols essential for delivering high-quality services.
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, hair threading, body waxing, and other complementary beauty procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their individual needs.
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic retail math skills for managing product sales and inventory.
- Certification in cosmetology or related beauty fields required; additional training in eyelash extensions or barbering is advantageous.
