High School: 10 months, 5 hrs/day; Schedule: 3:00 pm-8:00 pm
Middle School: 10 months, 5 hrs/day; Schedule: 2:00 pm-7:00pm

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in supervision and maintains order in study halls, corridors, recreation areas, parking lots and other school facilities and grounds before, during and after school hours;
- Monitors buildings and grounds to prevent vandalism, theft and illegal entry;
- Guides students in safe practices inside and outside the school building;
- Reports any unusual or suspicious circumstances to building administration;
- Monitors school grounds to detect unauthorized persons, vehicles or gatherings;
- Confronts unauthorized persons for questioning, routes or detains them, calling building administration for assistance when appropriate;
- Make written reports when needed or requested;
- Assists School Resource Officer, school nurse(s) or teachers in the event of a medical emergency;
- Assists students with special needs;
- Performs other related work as assigned by the high school principal or designee.
Job Qualifications
1. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency diploma;
- Successful prior experience working with adolescents.
3. Effective communication and human relations skills with both adolescents and adults;
4. Ability to maintain order and enforce school regulations with firmness;
5. Dependable, neat, mature, and able to show good judgment;
6. Certification in first aid preferred;
7. In physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
