Stratosphere Quality is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Administrator / Quality Engineer I to support quality operations, documentation control, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for maintaining quality records, supporting corrective actions, managing customer quality documentation, and assisting with quality investigations to ensure compliance with customer and company standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience working with quality systems, and the ability to analyze data and generate reports to support operational decision-making. Quality Engineers commonly support quality controls, corrective actions, audits, inspections, and process improvements.

Create, maintain, and organize Quality Control (QC) packets and quality documentation.

Process and maintain Part Submission Warrants (PSW), quality records, and customer documentation.

Support Root Cause Analysis and 8D Corrective Action investigations.

Review, track, and disposition non-conforming materials.

Assist with RMA investigations and containment activities.

Generate quality reports and analyze production and defect data.

Support internal and customer audits.

Maintain document control systems and quality records.

Assist in monitoring quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Review work instructions, procedures, and specifications for compliance.

Coordinate with operations, production, and customer teams to resolve quality concerns.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action programs. Quality Engineers frequently assist with audits, quality metrics, inspections, corrective actions, and process improvements.

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience working with quality documentation and record control.

Knowledge of 8D methodology, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.

Experience generating reports and tracking quality metrics.

Ability to read and interpret procedures, specifications, and technical documentation.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing environments.

Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems.

Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.

Knowledge of quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
