We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.
Senior Integrated Logistics & Sustainment Representative
Bell in Fort Worth, TX has an immediate for a Senior Integrated Logistics & Sustainment Representative to support the H-1 USMC fleet and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs.
This position is responsible for providing Integrated Logistics Support strategies and executing life cycle sustainment support for the operation and maintenance of the military product.
These strategies will support H-1 Program leadership and FMS Project Managers for transportation, levels of repair, supply management, technical data, support equipment, and other ILS elements necessary for domestic and global lifecycle sustainment.
In this role, you must be successful in coordinating logistics responses across the H-1 customer base while assisting the customers in achieving and sustaining a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of their H-1 aircraft.
What you will be doing as a Senior Integrated Logistics & Sustainment Representative:
- Utilizes technical expertise and product knowledge to assist Bell H-1 Program Leadership, FMS Case Managers, Engineering, and Logistics personnel to achieve product solutions and improvements for H-1 aircraft.
- Provide technical support to military and U.S. Government program personnel (NAVAIR) in support of acquisition and sustainment processes.
- Assist NAVAIR and Bell service engineers with investigations and developing and implementing corrective actions.
- Understands and maintains strict accountability for the Bell process of how problems and solutions are reported when systems/components fail on aircraft.
- Expected to gain and maintain a working relationship with U. S. Government and military employees of various levels of experience and provide full-spectrum support through these relationships for the H-1 sustainment programs.
- Coordinate efforts between operations and U. S. Government personnel during aircraft production, aircraft modifications, aircraft delivery and post-delivery sustainment support.
- Exhibits excellent communication skills to various experience levels within business, U. S. Government, and foreign nationals.
- Travel domestically and internationally if required by the H-1 Program.
Qualifications
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a Major in business administration, supply chain, logistics or related discipline. High school diploma or GED with 10 years of experience developing and supporting aircraft sustainment plans for Marines, or any other DoD organizations will be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of experience developing and supporting aircraft sustainment plans for Marines, or any other DoD organizations.
- Qualified to obtain and hold a Secret level security clearance.
- Working experience as a liaison with governmental organizations and key points of contacts charged with aviation logistics support.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with experience delivering briefs to executives / leadership are required.
- Personal computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications is required.
- Experience with government and engineering systems/databases is essential.
- Experience using Technical Assistance Request (TAR), Engineering Information Request (EIR).
- Proven leadership at organizational shop and division levels is preferred.
- Maintenance and Material Control experience is preferred.
- Quality Assurance - Full systems Quality Assurance Representative experience is preferred.
