Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote repeat business.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to expand our drink menu offerings.
- Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders to ensure availability of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy hours and special events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or food service within a hospitality or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to serve responsibly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that fosters guest loyalty.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
- Previous experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus; food handling certification is preferred.
