Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including vacuuming, floor cleaning, and sanitation of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or equipment to support housekeeping and maintenance needs.
- Support hotel housekeeping management by restocking supplies, maintaining cleaning schedules, and ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and mopping as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries related to cleanliness or facility needs.
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
