About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Millworker or Cabinet Builder to join our team in delivering high-quality custom millwork and countertops for commercial projects nationwide. This position is ideal for an experienced craftsperson who takes pride in their work, values precision, and thrives in a collaborative shop environment. The position may be structured as part-time or full-time, depending on candidate preference and experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble custom cabinets, millwork, and solid surface components per specifications and shop drawings
- Laminate fabrication and installation, including plastic laminate (P-Lam) and veneer
- Solid surface fabrication (e.g., Corian, HI-MACS, Staron) using standard tools and techniques
- Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Operate woodworking equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in millwork or cabinet fabrication
- Proficient with laminates and solid surface materials
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with cabinet-making machinery and shop tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Must have dependable transportation
