Overview
As a Barista/Polisher, you play a critical behind-the-scenes and guest-facing role in maintaining the visual and experiential clarity of the dining room. From producing refined espresso service to ensuring every piece of glassware and flatware meets exacting standards, your work is fundamental to the guest’s impression of excellence.
This position requires meticulous attention to detail, consistency, and pride in craft. You support both the service and culinary teams by ensuring that every element presented to the guest reflects precision and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve espresso and coffee beverages with consistency, accuracy, and refinement.
- Maintain immaculate standards for polishing glassware, flatware, and service pieces.
- Ensure all service items are spotless, streak-free, and presented to fine dining standards.
- Support the service team with beverage mise en place, including coffee, tea, and after-dinner service.
- Anticipate service needs and proactively replenish polished inventory.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of coffee station, polishing area, and service supports.
- Assist in maintaining the flow and readiness of the dining room through disciplined execution.
- Demonstrate care, focus, and efficiency in all preparation tasks.
Qualifications
- 2+ year in hospitality, café, or fine dining support role preferred.
- Basic understanding of espresso preparation and coffee handling.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to perform repetitive precision tasks with consistency and pride.
- Respect for structured, chef-driven environments.
- Calm, focused demeanor with a disciplined work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performance team.
