We’re looking for highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team of Freight Agents. As a Freight Agent, you’ll have the opportunity to build onto your own book of business, work with a variety of clients, and grow professionally within an industry that is vital to global commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify and target potential shippers and carriers.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with carriers and clients.
- Manage the end-to-end logistics process, from order to delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Work independently to prospect, pitch, and close sales deals.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is required.
- Sales Experience: A proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in transportation or logistics.
- Self-Motivation & Drive: Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Able to think critically and creatively to overcome challenges in logistics and customer needs.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, freight management software, and communication tools.
