Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTR/L) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric care. This role involves working with school aged children within their home/community. The Occupational Therapist will assess the students' needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to enhance their functional abilities and improve their quality of life.
Duties
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific student goals and objectives.
- Provide therapy services in the home setting or within the community.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and effective communication regarding treatment progress.
- Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, home exercises, and strategies for improving daily living skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation (daily session notes) of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes along with. monthly invoices and progress reports.
- Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy through continuous professional development and training.
Experience
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required along with a NYS OT/RL license.
- Working for the DOE is a conflict of interest.

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per hour
