American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR position at a hospital in Denton, TX, requiring cardiovascular OR circulating experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Located in the OR department (1st floor, main hospital building) of an acute care hospital in Denton, TX
-
CVOR unit with 13 OR beds and a staff of 62
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
On-call required 2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month
-
No floating requirement
-
Procedures performed include CABG and other cardiovascular surgeries

EMR: Meditech
-
Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)

Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience

Ability to circulate hearts is a hard requirement — candidates without this skill will not be considered

US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no exceptions; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri)

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered, no exceptions

Experience circulating hearts is both required and the top preferred skill for this role
