Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners, ages 3 1/2 - 4, and foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, manage classroom activities, and support the social-emotional growth of children. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to promote holistic childhood development.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, organized, and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
- Apply effective behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships centered on child welfare.
- Lead lesson planning sessions that integrate early intervention techniques and specialized approaches for children with diverse learning needs.
- Oversee classroom management practices to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and child engagement throughout the day.
- Utilize assessment tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Support professional development by staying current with best practices in early childhood education, including toddler care, childcare standards, and early intervention strategies.
Pay: $15.50 - $17.75 per hour
