A growing outpatient neurology practice is seeking a Texas-licensed board certified Neurologist to serve as a Collaborative Physician for an experienced Nurse Practitioner. This is a flexible, low-time-commitment position ideal for a physician interested in clinical collaboration without the demands of direct patient care or administrative oversight.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical consultation and collaboration as needed.
- Participate in periodic case discussions.
- Support quality assurance and best-practice recommendations.
- Assist with compliance related to collaborative practice requirements.
- Be available for occasional provider-to-provider consultation
Qualifications
Required
- Active Texas MD or DO license.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Unrestricted DEA registration
- Good standing with all licensing and regulatory agencies.
- Experience collaborating with Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants.
- Experience in outpatient neurology, headache medicine, stroke, epilepsy, cognitive disorders, or general neurology
- Ability to interpret EEGs
- Interest in innovative healthcare delivery models.
