Express Employment Professionals or Brighton is hiring Quality Inspectors for a growing manufacturer with openings at their Fenton and Holly, MI facilities.

Pay

Schedule
- 1st Shift
- Monday–Friday
- Typical hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Occasional Saturday overtime available
Responsibilities
As a Quality Inspector, you'll help ensure products meet customer and company quality standards by performing inspections, audits, and supporting production teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform random part inspections and verify products meet customer print specifications.
- Identify and document non-conforming materials and processes.
- Complete reject and scrap documentation and enter quality data into company systems.
- Conduct layered process audits and production checks.
- Review quality alerts with production operators.
- Assist with first-piece inspections and manufacturing order approvals.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Support sorting activities to prevent defective products from reaching customers.
- Enforce quality procedures and work instructions.
- Communicate quality concerns with supervisors and leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
QualificationsRequired
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry)
- Ability to read and interpret part prints and specifications
- Experience using measuring equipment such as:
- Calipers
- Tape Measures
- Pin Gauges
- Protractors
- Process Fixtures
- Other inspection tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Team-oriented mindset
Preferred
- Manufacturing or quality inspection experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing process flow
- Experience with Control Plans and FMEA
- Experience participating in root cause investigations and corrective actions
