Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Intake Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for gathering and analyzing preliminary case information and ensuring a smooth and welcoming intake process. This role is crucial in setting the tone for the client’s experience with our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients via phone, email, and in-person.
- Conduct thorough interviews with prospective clients to gather essential information about their cases.
- Evaluate the merits of potential cases and determine eligibility for legal representation.
- Accurately enter client information into our case management system.
- Schedule consultations with attorneys and provide clients with necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism.
- Follow up with potential clients to ensure all required information is collected.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to potential and existing clients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a legal, medical, or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to dealing with clients who may be in distress.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are a plus.
