Your Impact
As a Manufacturing Data Specialist, you will serve as the owner and gatekeeper of Accelevation’s manufacturing master data within Epicor. Your work will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of critical product information that enables effective planning, procurement, production, inventory management, and business reporting.
You will maintain product master records, bills of materials (BOMs), methods of manufacture (MOMs), routings, revisions, and engineering release data while driving enterprise-wide data consistency and quality. By partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams, you will help create a reliable foundation for efficient manufacturing operations and scalable growth.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own the creation, maintenance, and governance of manufacturing master data within Epicor
- Create and maintain manufactured, purchased, phantom, non-stock, and configurable part numbers in accordance with established standards
- Develop and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), Methods of Manufacture (MOMs), routings, and product structures to support production requirements
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, documentation, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to accurately implement product data
- Validate the completeness and accuracy of product data before releasing new parts and revisions to manufacturing
- Maintain revision control and product lifecycle records while supporting engineering change management activities
- Establish and maintain standardized naming conventions, numbering schemes, units of measure, product classes, and master data governance standards
- Perform routine audits of Epicor master data to identify and correct inaccuracies, duplicate records, missing attributes, and inconsistencies
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve product data issues
- Support new product introductions by creating and validating required ERP master data before production release
- Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes while minimizing disruption to manufacturing operations and inventory
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on data quality, governance, and process standardization
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or a related field required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Epicor ERP in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience creating and maintaining part master records, Bills of Material (BOMs), Methods of Manufacture (MOMs), routings, and product revisions
- Experience supporting Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, inventory management, and procurement
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Employees must be able to communicate effectively and work in both office and manufacturing environments. This role requires extensive interaction with ERP systems, engineering documentation, production teams, and business stakeholders. Physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, data entry, document review, and cross-functional collaboration. Employees may occasionally walk production floors and interact with manufacturing teams and equipment. The work environment consists of office and manufacturing settings with moderate noise levels. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when entering production areas.
