Job Summary
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or special needs. We’re looking for caring, reliable DSPs to support a young man with IDD and physical challenges through the NC Innovations Waiver.
Schedule:
MWF or T/TH 3–9 PM + one day during the weekend from 10 am–7 pm
What You'll Do:
- Support daily routines & independent living skills
- Provide some hands-on help with personal care/hygiene
- Assist with community outings
- Preferred: experience with behaviors & seizures
Requirements:
- Must be 18 yrs+ and have at minimum a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be physically fit, dependable, and patient
- Must be able to administer medication
- Must have a valid driver's license, automobile and current insurance policy required.
- Knowledge of basic first aid techniques and ability to perform CPR will be required after onboarding.
- Be committed to providing quality support.
