Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine and inviting
- Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently
- Support planting, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, and plant identification to promote healthy growth of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs
- Perform groundskeeping duties such as leaf removal, debris cleanup, weed control, and pest management following safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to plant health or equipment performance and report or address them promptly
- Follow safety procedures diligently while handling pesticides, operating machinery, or working at heights during tree trimming or other tasks
Qualifications
- Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or gardening preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor environments is essential
- Mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation is highly desirable
- Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, irrigation systems, and pesticide management is a plus
- Ability to safely operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers
- Strong attention to safety protocol adherence while working with equipment or chemicals
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, bending, standing for extended periods and working in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing and edging; experience with tree trimming is advantageous

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
