About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Cell Phone Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of smartphones and mobile devices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair issues with smartphones, including:
- Screen replacements
- Battery replacements
- Charging port repairs
- Camera and speaker repairs
- Software resets & troubleshooting
- Perform board-level repairs (preferred but not required)
- Provide accurate service quotes and repair timelines
- Maintain detailed and organized records of repairs and parts used
- Ensure devices are handled with care and repaired to quality standards
- Assist customers with questions, recommendations, and device care tips
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cell phone or electronics repair (required)
- Strong knowledge of smartphone components and repair techniques
- Ability to use repair tools and equipment (heat gun, microscope, soldering tools, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
- Microsoldering or board-level repair experience
- Certification in mobile repair or electronics (not required but a plus)
- Experience with tablets, laptops, or other electronics
