Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Area Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within several of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a solid understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. This role requires effective supervision skills ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards. The Area Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize Happy Co for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including low voltage components, using tools such as voltmeters.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs and equipment history.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work without disrupting operations.
- Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in the Apartment Industry or a similar supervisory role in a maintenance environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Familiarity with Happy Co software for effective management of maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and manuals.
