Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive first impression
- Manage reservation bookings, waitlists, and guest seating arrangements with efficiency and professionalism
- Operate POS systems to process payments accurately and swiftly
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to uphold a welcoming environment
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assist with inquiries, and provide information about services or menu items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently, fostering guest relations and hospitality excellence
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or Cashier in food service or restaurant settings preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Experience operating POS systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, and restaurant operations is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in hotel or guest services environments is advantageous but not required
