Summary of Position:
This is a full-time, onsite role at a machining and fabrication facility located in Central Texas, approximately 40 minutes east of Waco, TX. The position requires a CNC Operator with hands-on experience operating CNC lathes and/or VMCs in a production environment. No setup or programming skills are required. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of blueprints, experience using precision measuring tools, and a strong work ethic. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the shop floor and producing consistent, high-quality parts.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathes and/or VMCs for production runs
- Monitor machine operation and part quality during cycles
- Read and follow blueprints and work instructions
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect finished components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality protocols
Key Skills:
- CNC machine operation
- Blueprint reading
- Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Quality inspection
- Shop-floor experience
Educational & Other Requirements:
- 1–2+ years of CNC operating experience
- Experience operating CNC lathes or VMCs required
- Must be familiar with measuring tools
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reliable transportation to a Central Texas worksite (onsite only, no remote work)
Location:
This is an onsite role at a full-scale machining and fabrication facility in Central Texas, located approximately 40 minutes east of Waco. Remote work is not available for this position.
Pay Rate:
$22.00 to $23.50 per hour (based on experience)
