Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Closer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage the final stages of real estate transactions, ensuring all legal, financial, and documentation requirements are meticulously completed to facilitate smooth property transfers. Your expertise will help uphold the integrity of each closing process, providing exceptional service to clients and internal teams alike. Duties
- Review and analyze title searches, public records, and legal descriptions to verify property ownership and identify any encumbrances such as easements or rights-of-way
- Prepare and review all necessary real estate documentation, including closing disclosures, settlement statements, deeds, and affidavits in accordance with underwriting guidelines and real estate law
- Coordinate Closing with lenders, clients and Real Estate Agents
- Conduct comprehensive title reviews to confirm clear ownership transfer and resolve any discrepancies or issues found in title records or title processing
- Prepare HUDs, ALTAs and CD's
- Review Trusts and Operating agreements, Estoppels.
- Communicate effectively with clients throughout the closing process, providing updates and answering questions to ensure a positive experience
Skills
- Proficiency in Closers Choice, Word, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite for document preparation and communication
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, legal descriptions, title review procedures, and underwriting guidelines adherence
- Ability to perform detailed title searches using public records and title records databases
- Familiarity with easements, rights-of-way, and other property interests affecting real estate transactions
- Excellent research skills for investigating property histories and resolving discrepancies in title records or legal descriptions
- Exceptional client communication skills combined with customer service orientation to support clients through the closing process
