Reading Advanced Machining is seeking CNC Machine Operators to set up, maintain and operate machinery to provide quality products to our customers.
The CNC Machine Operator will set up machines, control and adjust settings, inspect parts, fix issues during shifts, and keep accurate logs, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
A qualified CNC Machine Operator candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a CNC machine operator (5+ years)
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Analytical skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
