Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Statistical Updating and Analysis professional to support transportation and logistics operations through administrative and analytical tasks. The ideal candidate will conduct research to identify process inefficiencies, prepare statistical reports to inform decision-making, handle information requests from internal teams and clients, and document operational procedures. They will be responsible for entering contact data accurately, maintaining various databases related to shipments and carriers, and coordinating projects and meetings to enhance workflow. Additionally, the role involves training or supervising lower-level clerical staff to ensure efficient support for logistics activities.
Duties
- Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
- Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
- File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
- Prepare drafts and final versions for Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform general office duties such as, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic administrative work.
- Prepare agendas and make arrangements for project meetings.
- Compile, transcribe, and distribute minutes of meetings.
- Attend meetings to record minutes.
- Meet with individuals, special interest groups and others on behalf of executives, committees.
- Set up and draft operating procedures with team members’ assistance.
- Review operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures.
- Interpret administrative and operating policies and procedures for employees.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
