Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Purchasing Manager to join our fast-growing team of professionals. This full-time position will purchase supplies and materials at the optimal price and delivery cycle for the organization, as well as establish and maintain par-levels of stock inventory. The key duties for this position are:
- Purchase materials for current projects and coordinate the timely delivery of the items to the designated location.
- Ensure proper supplies are received in a timely fashion.
- Manage inventory.
- Track all orders.
- Review invoices, cross-check the packing slips against same, and approve the invoice for payment, as applicable.
- Interact with vendors and suppliers, and resolve any noted invoice discrepancies.
- Perform cost comparisons related to proposals. Compare prices, verify specifications, delivery dates and other information to facilitate purchasing decisions.
- Process purchase orders and issues purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve receiving and invoicing problems.
- Assist with resolving problems related to invoicing and receiving.

Qualifications:
- Must have experience with setup and managing inventory software.
- At least two years of purchasing experience/supply chain management obtained in the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of job costing and budgeting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A teamwork-oriented individual who can also work independently and has excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to analyze supply needs across multiple job sites.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Hands-on and collaborative with field and office staff.
