Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, and craft beers, ensuring consistency with established recipes and presentation standards
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as toast POS , process cash and card transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations during food handling and beverage service
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations or seating arrangements, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Assist in food preparation or plating when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to elevate the guest experience through creativity and expertise in mixology and spirits
- Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability of premium ingredients like spirits, wine, and craft beer
Experience
- Proven experience in food service roles such as bartender, cook, or host within the hospitality industry
- Familiarity with POS systems including toast pos for processing transactions accurately
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, and spirits management
- Experience working in fine dining settings or catering environments is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during peak hours
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to create welcoming atmospheres for diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and food safety procedures
