JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a Corporate ES&H/Quality Manager. This position is responsible for ES&H/Quality across all JPLC corporate offices and projects.

Place of performance: JPLC Corporate Office/ Telework
Hours of Operation : 08:00 to 17:00, five days per week, Monday through Friday, except observed Federal holidays.
Scope:
The Corporate ES&H/Quality Manager must meet the requirements of EM 385-1-1 Section 1 and ensure that the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.16 are met for the project. Provide a Safety oversight to/on all JPLC projects. ES&H/ Quality Manager training, experience, and qualifications shall be as required by EM 385-1-1 paragraph 01.A.17, entitled SITE SAFETY AND HEALTH OFFICER (SSHO), and all associated sub-paragraphs.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing company-wide health and safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations. They proactively identify hazards through inspections, investigate incidents, and conduct employee training to foster a safe work culture, aiming to eliminate injuries and reduce liability.
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Compliance Management: Ensure all operations adhere to federal, state, and local safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
- Hazard Assessment: Conduct regular inspections, site audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Training Development: Plan and conduct comprehensive employee safety training, including emergency procedures, equipment handling, and fire safety.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, and near-misses, preparing reports and identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of safety activities, training, incident reports, and injury logs.
- Policy Development: Develop, update, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Reduction in accident and incident rates (Lagging Indicators).
- Completion of scheduled training and safety audits (Leading Indicators).
Prompt closure of corrective actions.

Quality Manager:
Ensure products or services meet customer expectations and regulatory standards by developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control systems. They manage the Quality Management System (QMS), conduct audits, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement to reduce defects. Key responsibilities include leading inspection teams, ensuring compliance, and fostering a company-wide culture of quality.
Core Responsibilities:
- QMS Management: Develop, document, and maintain quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Quality Inspection: Define and oversee inspection, testing, and auditing methods for raw materials and finished products.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure products adhere to legal standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics, non-conformance, and customer feedback to improve performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process deviations, lead root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
- Leadership: Train, mentor, and lead quality staff and cross-functional teams in quality improvement projects.
EDUCATION:
The SSHO shall have satisfactory experience in preparing and enforcing safety programs on contracts and have completed the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Class or equivalent. The ES&H/Quality Manager shall maintain competency through 24 hours of formal safety and health-related coursework every four years.
