Schedule: Monday to Friday (Standard day shift with rotational on-call flexibility)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, skilled Property Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day repairs, routine upkeep, and turnover preparation across multiple residential and multi-unit properties in the Binghamton and Johnson City area.

Key Responsibilities
- General Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine repair work including basic plumbing (leaks, faucet/toilet replacements), electrical (switches, outlets, fixtures), dry-wall patching, painting, trim, and door/hardware repairs.
- Unit Turnovers: Prepare vacant units for new occupants efficiently (patching, painting, fixture upgrades, mechanical checks, final walkthrough prep).
- Property Inspection & Upkeep: Conduct regular inspections of interior common areas, exterior grounds, and building mechanical systems to address safety and repair needs before they escalate.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose residential system issues quickly and either perform hands-on fixes or coordinate with property mananger when necessary.
- Emergency Response: Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for urgent after-hours maintenance issues (e.g., major leaks, heat loss).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Hands-on experience in residential property maintenance, facility repairs, or general residential construction trades required.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, drywall/painting, carpentry, and door/window hardware.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel between local property sites throughout Binghamton and Johnson City.
- Tools: Possession of basic hand and power tools suited for general maintenance tasks.
- Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving abilities, independent time-management skills, and a professional attitude when interacting with residents.
