Pittsburgh Regional Transit is seeking a Rail and Facilities Administrator to maintain multiple databases, including facilities and rail system preventative maintenance systems and asset management databases, including procedures and checklists, equipment data, purchased and installed assets, and warranty programs for Port Authority of Allegheny County d/b/a Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT). Updates preventative maintenance tasks and maintains accurate, current asset information within the asset management and work order systems. Performs daily data entry for various maintenance activities, including inspections, meter readings, and general maintenance logs into the work order system ensuring work order records are complete and accurate. Collects, verifies, and analyzes asset data, preventative maintenance data, and maintenance activities, and prepares reports. Analyzes rail and facilities systems maintenance activities to determine material failure and usage trends and develops inventory requests to support maintenance activities. Provides training on use of the asset management database. Provides administrative support to the department manager.
Essential Functions:
- Daily data entry for various types of work involving Inspections, Meter Readings and general maintenance logs.
- Compiles, verifies, and distributes preventive maintenance information. Verifies asset preventive maintenance data and identifies and verifies assets. Write PM procedures and schedules. Prepares weekly reports for upper management. (Compiles = Going onsite to examine existing asset and record asset information. Assets are located anywhere across PRT properties (all properties, LRT track, busways, and any facility)) for PRT's TAM plan.
- Participates with Manager in providing User training for employees interacting with the asset management database.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate's degree or two (2) years of college in business & management, program administration, or related field from an accredited college or university. Related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
- A valid PA driver’s License.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and/or preventive maintenance systems.
- Must attend and successfully complete any job-related training as determined by department management.
- Strong computer and statistical analysis skills using a computerized maintenance information system.
- Must be able to work on off shifts.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of Microsoft Windows Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Effective and professional communication skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with a Work Order System.
- Experience in developing work schedules.
