Position Summary
Consecrated Care, Inc. (CCI) is seeking a motivated Counselor-in-Training (CIT) to join our Opioid Treatment Program in Riverdale, Georgia. Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the CIT will gain hands-on experience providing addiction counseling services while working toward professional certification. Responsibilities include assisting with patient assessments, treatment planning, individual counseling, case management, referrals, and clinical documentation in a supportive team environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake interviews and assessments.
- Provide individual counseling under supervision.
- Assist with treatment planning and patient goal development.
- Complete clinical documentation and progress notes.
- Monitor patient progress and treatment participation.
- Coordinate referrals and connect patients with community resources.
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and required trainings.
- Assist with crisis intervention and case management as needed.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Eligible for Counselor-in-Training (CIT), CADC-T, or similar credential.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; students or graduates in counseling, psychology, social work, human services, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or social services preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, CBT, or addiction treatment is a plus.
