Assistant General Manager – Marriott Select Brand HotelAbout the Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on, people‑focused Assistant General Manager to support daily hotel operations and uphold the high service standards of our Marriott Select Brand property. This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives on creating exceptional guest experiences, supporting team development, and partnering closely with the General Manager to drive overall hotel success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations, ensuring alignment with Marriott brand standards
- Foster a positive, team‑oriented culture that prioritizes guest satisfaction and employee engagement in line with the Chase Hospitality Mission Statement "Be The Best"
- Lead, coach, and develop associates across front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service, resolving issues with professionalism and care
- Monitor operational performance, guest feedback, and service scores to identify opportunities for improvement
- Support financial performance through labor management, cost controls, and operational efficiency
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel, modeling hospitality and service excellence
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards across all departments
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hotel operations experience; Marriott Select Brand experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and supporting teams
- Guest‑focused mindset with the ability to resolve challenges quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with Marriott systems ( FOSSE, STAY PMS, GXP, etc.) is a plus
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
