Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Care for floors by sweeping, scrubbing, and applying appropriate treatments to maintain their appearance and safety
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guest needs
- Follow established protocols for janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or areas requiring special attention
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and use proper equipment when handling cleaning chemicals or performing specialized tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and standards in hospitality environments
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
