American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and active TX or compact RN license.

Emergency Department (ED) unit within a 379-bed short-term acute care hospital
-
Level II Trauma Center
-
Patient ratio of 1:3
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
-
6 weekends required per 6-week period
-
No on-call required
-
No floating within the unit, however travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
13-week contract
-
Active TX or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required (hard stop)

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC

Epic EMR experience required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

Candidates who previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of employment

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

RTO is expected to be minimal for this position

Solid navy blue scrubs required for licensed nursing staff; print tops are not acceptable

Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of assignment
