Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour, with higher pay available based on experience, plus a $3.00/hour 2nd shift differential.
We are looking for a dependable Steel Yard Equipment Operator to support material movement and loading operations in an outdoor steel yard. This role involves operating various equipment, moving structural steel, and assisting with trailer and material handling activities.
- Operate overhead cranes to load, unload, and position structural steel.
- Use Pettibone equipment to move steel and materials throughout the yard.
- Jockey and reposition trailers within the yard.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling steel and operating equipment.
- Maintain reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous experience operating cranes and handling materials.
- Experience loading structural steel with an overhead crane is required.
- Experience with Pettibone equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

- Willingness to learn additional equipment and procedures; training will be provided when appropriate.
