JOB SUMMARY
Setup and/or run CNC Machines, MILL
1st Shift
JOB DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITIES
1. Run and/or set up production jobs as assigned by their supervisor
2. Make quality parts per blue prints and work orders while meeting required production rate
3. Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers and gauges; maintain +/- 0.001 tolerance
4. Keep work area safe, clean and organized, report quality or machine issues
5. Decrease waste by employing innovative solutions to machining
6. Follow instructions of related QMS procedures and Work Instructions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum 5 years CNC machining experience
2. Ability to provide information on a particular method of machining
3. Able to use hand tools i.e. wrenches, Allen wrenches etc.
4. Strong blueprint reading skills, identify dimensions being cut, and comprehension of GD&T
5. Strong measuring skills (measure parts and use measuring tools)
6. Understanding of G-code and toll wear conditions
7. Able to produce company production requirements
8. Ability to perform job set-ups without assistance is a PLUS
9. Excellent shop math skills a PLUS
10. Computer literate is a PLUS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $38.00 per hour
