Position Summary:
The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for timely and quality service and repair work of hydraulic systems, pneumatic and electromechanical power systems and other mechanical systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Completes service and repair work of hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical and other mechanical systems in the shop and in the field.

Supervises a team of hydraulic technicians.

Sells products that would benefit the customer.

Tests systems.
-
Supports startups and field commissions as necessary.

Works with business unit manager to develop and grow service business.
Skills and Abilities:
-
Strong leadership skillset and mechanical aptitude.
-
Ability to read mechanical, electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Good math and reading skills.
-
Skills to effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
-
Demonstrated dependability and ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or GED required.
-
Industrial experience with hydraulic repairs and systems.
-
Experience with hose fabrication, metal fabrication, tube fabrication, bending and end conditioning.
-
Welding experience, certified in MIG or TIG welding a plus.
Supervisory responsibilities:
-
Responsible for team of hydraulic technicians while on job sites.
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Travel to other RG Group or customer locations often overnight.
-
Both office and manufacturing environments.
