Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position requires strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on field experience to troubleshoot issues, perform quality repairs, and ensure all work meets safety and performance standards.
Duties
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and service on heating and cooling equipment to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
- Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system condition, repair options, and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate service records, job notes, and parts usage for completed work.
- Ensure all service work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in clean and professional condition.
- Drive company vehicles to job sites while following all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC service, troubleshooting, or equipment repair is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with heating and air conditioning systems.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems, and airflow performance is a plus.
- Experience with field service operations and customer-facing work environments is beneficial.
- A valid driver’s license is required for operating company vehicles.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and professionalism when interacting with customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
