We are hiring experienced Apprentice Drywall Tapers for commercial construction projects (Night Work). Candidates should have 1–4 years of drywall taping experience and be able to perform Level 1–3 drywall finishing while working alongside journeyman tapers. Weekly pay.
Job Duties
- Assist journeyman tapers with commercial drywall finishing
- Perform Level 1–3 drywall taping and finishing
- Apply tape and joint compound to drywall seams and corners
- Sand, skim, and prepare surfaces between coats
- Mix and prepare joint compound and finishing materials
- Patch and repair minor drywall imperfections
- Help prepare walls and ceilings for paint
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all job site safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman
Requirements
- 1–4 years of drywall taping experience
- Experience performing Level 1–3 drywall finishing
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Must be available to work night shifts
- Must have basic drywall hand tools
- Must have full PPE (hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, work boots, gloves, etc.)
- Reliable transportation
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
