Under a crew leader’s guidance and with additional training, the incumbent in this position will work to maintain landscaped grounds to a specified high standard.
Education
High school or GED preferred
Experience
Prior landscape maintenance preferred, but not required.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration
Valid Florida driver’s license preferred
Other

Dirver's license REQUIRED.

Must be able to work flexible hours

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to perform duties that require a great deal of bending.

Able to use edger, leaf blower and lawn mower to maintain grounds.

Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

Knowledge of or willingness to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to landscaping duties.
Essential Duties

Identification and removal of plants determined to be weeds in their present locations.

Removal of any debris, litter, and trash in and around shrub beds.

Removal of dead leaves, flowers and other materials, and trimming as instructed.

Add additional mulch and removing old mulch from beds
