VanEssential is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist to help keep our operations running smoothly. This role is responsible for daily order fulfillment, inventory handling, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment that supports our growing van-life community.
This is a hands-on, physical, and operational role ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, takes pride in organization, and values being part of a small, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently
- Process shipments using ShipStation and ensure orders leave the warehouse on time
- Stage and load packages for daily UPS, FedEx, and other carrier pickups
- Assist in preparing and shipping Amazon FBA inventory shipments as scheduled
Receiving & Inventory
- Receive inbound deliveries from carriers
- Assist with unloading freight and shipping containers as needed and break down
- Replenish warehouse shelving and storage areas daily
- Support inventory management, including quarterly cycle counts
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Break down boxes, manage trash in the warehouse and throughout the building, and assist with general warehouse upkeep daily.
- Assist with operational tasks that support overall warehouse efficiency
Security & Reliability
- Open and close the building as scheduled
- Ensure the warehouse and inventory are secure during daily operations
Physical Requirements
- This is an active role requiring standing and walking for most of the shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
- Frequent bending, reaching, and moving inventory in a warehouse environment
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting with normal temperature fluctuations
Qualifications
- Must be 21+ with a clean valid driver’s license
- Forklift certification preferred; training and certification provided for the right candidate
- Comfortable using Apple computers and warehouse software
- Experience with ShipStation and G-Suite preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
