Join one of the nation’s premier workers’ compensation case management companies, Medical Case Management Group (MCMG). We are seeking highly organized and skilled workers’ compensation case managers to support injured workers and ensure efficient, outcome-focused care coordination in a part-time or per-diem role.
Successful candidates will manage medical treatment, facilitate communication between all stakeholders, and support timely return-to-work outcomes.

- Requires attending medical appointments in and around Worcester / Springfield, MA using your own transportation
Candidates must have all certificates and licenses in good standing, and when applicable, be licensed or become licensed in MA and preferably also CT (via state license or compact license). Candidates must also hold a valid driver’s license, maintain reliable transportation, and carry active auto and malpractice insurance.
Because of where client appointments occur, candidates should reside in or near Worcester / Springfield, MA.
Note: Training is provided; prior workers’ compensation case-management experience is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact and communicate regularly with injured workers, medical providers, employers, insurers, and attorneys (when needed)
- Conduct assessments, identify barriers to recovery, and develop treatment plans with medical providers
- Monitor and coordinate medical care to ensure appropriateness and timeliness; advocate for the injured worker’s medical needs
- Coordinate ancillary services such as PT, OT, and vocational rehabilitation
- Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and insurer and company policies
- Conduct periodic case reviews and identify issues that may delay recovery or return-to-work readiness
- Collaborate with employers to identify modified-duty options when applicable
- Participate in litigated cases when required, including potential testimony
